About the Company: We are a leading manufacturer of bespoke, high-end fitted furniture for residential and commercial clients across the UK. Our team takes pride in producing exceptional quality work, and we’re now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our wood finishing spray shop.
The Role: As an apprentice in the wood finishing spray shop, you will learn the essential skills of professional wood finishing. Working closely with experienced craftsmen, you will develop your knowledge and hands-on ability in preparing, spraying, and finishing wood products to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a valuable trade with plenty of room for future growth in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of wooden surfaces for spraying
- Learning to apply various wood finishes including lacquers, stains, and paints
- Supporting the maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment
- Ensuring health and safety standards are followed at all times
- Gaining knowledge of the materials and techniques used in wood finishing
- Keeping the workshop clean and organised

- A genuine interest in woodworking and craftsmanship
- Keen to learn and develop new skills
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety in a workshop environment is a plus
- No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to work hard and learn is essential
