Field Service Engineer – Fire Alarm Installations (Construction)

 

Location: Ideally based along the M4 corridor (closer to London) for optimal project coverage. Regular travel required across London, the Midlands, and occasionally nationwide.
Salary: Competitive, with a great performance-related bonus and regular overtime opportunities.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 (flexibility required for travel).

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to install and service our unique radio-link fire alarm systems on construction sites. Full training is provided, so prior experience with our product isn’t required. However, familiarity with radio-link security systems or other fire alarm installations would be an advantage, especially if you have troubleshooting skills.

This role involves extensive driving and travel, with early starts where required. You’ll be working closely with clients, so strong people skills and a team-player mentality are essential.

–Experience on construction sites – must be comfortable working in this environment
–CSCS card holder (or willing to undertake training)
–Full, clean UK driving licence

Preferred but not essential:

  • Electrical qualifications or experience installing fire alarms (not a dealbreaker—we value trainable candidates!)
