Position:
We are seeking a full-time GRP Finisher to join our team. This is a permanent role, working 07:00 to 17:30, Monday to Thursday (40 hours per week).
Responsibilities:
As a GRP Finisher, your duties will include:
- Finishing and preparing hulls, decks, and various boat components
- Working within a small team to meet production targets while maintaining impeccable standards of workmanship
- Preparing moulds and trimming components
Essential Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in polishing components and gel coating
- The ability to prepare and trim moulds
- Snagging experience on worked components
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- A coachable, positive attitude and a desire to pursue perfection
- Strong time management skills
- The ability to work well within a team
- A commitment to producing work in a clean and organised manner
Salary:
A competitive rate up to £16.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The starting rate will be discussed during the interview process.
