Position:
We are looking for full-time Laminators to join our expanding team. This is a permanent role, working 07:00 to 17:30, Monday to Thursday (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities:
As a Laminator, your duties will include:

  • Cutting and preparing fibreglass matting
  • Reading and interpreting lay-up specifications
  • Performing various laminating processes, including wet-lay, infusion, and vacuum bagging
  • Using hand tools for laminating tasks
  • Identifying and rectifying laminating defects
  • Working with core materials and generic bonding pastes
  • Releasing simple moulds
  • Ensuring the correct use of PPE at all times

Essential Skills/Experience:
We welcome applications from experienced Laminators as well as those with relevant skills from similar industries. The ideal candidate will:

  • Take pride in their work and maintain high standards of quality
  • Work well both independently and under supervision
  • Be confident using hand tools
  • Have a good understanding of laminating techniques and processes
  • Possess strong organisational and practical skills
  • Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Be familiar with basic Health and Safety standards, including PPE requirements
  • Be reliable and hardworking

Salary:
A competitive rate of up to £16.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The starting rate will be discussed during the interview.
