Job Description:

Are you an experienced Industrial Pipefitter looking for your next contract in the South West of England? We are hiring for a 3-6 month contract that offers a competitive day rate and falls inside IR35. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of industrial projects in a challenging and rewarding environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Install, maintain, and repair stainless steel pipe systems, including high-pressure and low-pressure pipelines.

– Tack up pipe prior to welding

– Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan pipefitting work.

– Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using various hand and power tools.

– Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

– Collaborate with other trades and project teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely project completion.

– Test pipe systems for leaks, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.

 

What We’re Looking For:

– Proven experience as an Industrial Pipefitter in a similar role.

– Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and tools.

– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

– Proficiency in welding, threading, and assembling different types of pipes.

– Valid certifications relevant to pipefitting (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

– Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.

 

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: £19.00-£21.00 per hour PAYE DOE

Umbrella rate £27p/h

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
