We are seeking a skilled Technical Production Designer to join Our Client’s team, ensuring seamless delivery of technical drawing files from the concept stage to installation. Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD for the manufacture and installation of bespoke commercial fitted furniture.
- Collaborate with the design, workshop, and installation teams to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Understand and incorporate manufacturing processes, materials, and installation methods into designs.
- Work closely with the workshop to ensure designs meet specifications and quality standards.
- Assist with the ordering of specialist materials as required for bespoke projects.
- Manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring timelines and specifications are met.
- Confidently liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery.
- Provide technical problem-solving support during the production and installation phases.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Designer in the furniture industry, with a focus on commercial fitted furniture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for producing technical drawings for manufacture and installation.
- Strong understanding of the processes involved in manufacturing furniture.
- Experience in ordering materials and working closely with workshop teams to meet specifications.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee projects from concept to final installation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
