Structural Monitoring Engineer

We’re on the lookout for Structural Monitoring Engineers to join our clients expanding Project Delivery Team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering multiple projects and supporting our technicians in smaller projects. It’s an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth in the Asset Reliability Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex monitoring projects and contracts.
  • Ensure safe project delivery in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the HSEQ Department to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
  • Communicate project progress to the Project Manager through weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Mentor and train Structural Monitoring Technicians.
  • Support sub-contractor and equipment selection activities.
  • Build strong client relationships on new and existing contracts.
  • Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to resolve technical, commercial, or procurement issues.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Level 4 engineering qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Practical engineering experience (mechanical, electrical, or civil).
  • Strong communication skills for effectively addressing complex technical problems.
  • Experience in installing structural monitoring systems and sensors is highly desirable.
  • Significant site experience, preferably leading a site team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to sites in the UK and overseas.
